शरीर, समग्र प्राणशक्ति और संरचना, रूप-रंग, स्वभाव, आत्म-पहचान, यश-कीर्ति, सिर, तथा जीवन की सामान्य दिशा और उसकी दृढ़ता। यह भाव केंद्र भी है और त्रिकोण भी — कुंडली की आधारशिला: हर दूसरे भाव को लग्न और उसके स्वामी की स्थिति के संदर्भ में ही देखा जाता है।
