Nature
Shadow graha (north lunar node), counted a malefic: smoky, tamasic, insatiable — and the engine of worldly breakthrough, innovation and foreign fortune. Rahu amplifies whatever it touches; direction, not suppression, is the remedy.
Significations (karakatvas)
Karaka of obsession and amplification: foreign lands and foreigners, technology and innovation, unconventional paths, sudden elevation, illusions and their piercing, paternal grandfather, poisons and their antidotes. Where Rahu stands, hunger points — and mastery lies in feeding it consciously.
