Expenditure and release, sleep and the comforts of the bed, foreign residence and distant lands, hospitals, ashrams and places of retreat, solitude, charity, loss that liberates, and moksha — final liberation. The Vedic 12th completes the wheel: what the other houses gather, it teaches one to spend well and finally to release; planets here work behind the scenes, abroad, or within.
