When they fall into a mutual 6/8 or 2/12 relationship — the shashtashtaka or dwirdwadasha configurations — the period reads as a negotiation between competing agendas, not as a warning sign. To keep interpretation disciplined, list first: which houses does the antardasha lord occupy and own, which houses does it aspect, and what are its core karakatvas — then filter all of this through the Moon's own agenda of mind, home, and nurture. This ordering keeps the reading specific rather than vague.

One more piece completes the picture: dasha sandhi, the junction between the end of Moon mahadasha and the start of the next. Classically this is treated as a tender handover — the outgoing lord finishing its business while the incoming lord sets up shop. It calls for patience and lighter scheduling around the transition, not apprehension. Even malefic-lord sub-periods within Moon mahadasha are best read through their honest, workable output — discipline, courage, sustained focus — always alongside whatever supports the chart offers, never as a forecast of loss.
